Project Hail Mary was the first science fiction book that I had ever listened to. Before I got my hands on this book, my interest only laid towards murder mysteries, but once I started listening, I couldn’t wait to get to the next chapter. It centers on a school teacher, Ryland Grace, who ends up in space with amnesia, trying to save the planet. It's a 16h10m long audiobook written by Andy Weir and beautifully narrated by Ray Porter. It's a must-read even if you are not as big a fan of science fiction as I was.

An amazing audiobook written by Andy Weir and beautifully narrated by Ray Porter . Everyone is terrified when they learn that life on the planet they are living on will soon cease to exist when a school teacher, Ryland Grace somehow ends up in space, to save it but have no idea how since he doesn't remember anything at all.
Project Hail Mary, being a science fiction, obviously involves a bit of scientific stuff but not extensively and nothing that you won't be able to understand. It's a totally intriguing one that won't let your attention slip away anytime while listening to the audiobook. A little humor is something that I always enjoy in a book and it was refreshing to listen to some light comical aspects amidst all the adrenaline rush that this book will give you. Read this book if you want to find out what happens with Ryland in space and if he will be able to save the planet and get back in time.
