1. Refunds for Book Review Submissions
By submitting a book for review, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- No Refunds for Review Services: Once a book is submitted for review, we do not offer refunds for review services. This includes cases where the review is positive or negative, or if the review has been completed. The service provided (a review of your book) is considered delivered when the review is published on the Website or shared with you.
2. Cancellation of Book Submission
- Cancellation Before Review Process Begins: If you wish to cancel the submission of your book before we begin the review process, please contact us within 24 hours of your submission for a full refund.
- Cancellation After Review Process Has Begun: Once the review process has begun, we are unable to cancel the review. You may still choose to withdraw your book from future promotional activities, but the review that has been initiated will still be completed and published as scheduled.
- Requesting a Revision to the Review: If you are dissatisfied with a review, please reach out to us directly. While we do not guarantee revisions to reviews, we welcome feedback and may offer suggestions for clarification or follow-up. We aim to be fair, honest, and constructive in all our reviews.
3. Refunds Due to Issues with Submission
If you believe that there was an error or issue with the submission of your book (e.g., duplicate charges, technical issues preventing your book from being reviewed, or incorrect billing), please contact us at help@litrated.com within 5 days of the issue occurring. We will review your case and determine if a refund or correction is warranted.
Refunds will be processed in the original method of payment. Please note that we cannot issue refunds for dissatisfaction with the review itself, as reviews are based on the honest opinions of our reviewers.
4. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
In rare cases, such as technical failures on our part, we may offer refunds or alternative solutions, including but not limited to:
- Review Delays or Technical Issues: If a review is delayed significantly or cannot be completed due to circumstances on our end, we may offer a partial refund or an alternative review service.
- Incorrect Submissions: If the wrong version of your book is submitted (e.g., an incomplete draft), please notify us immediately. While we cannot offer a refund for this mistake, we may allow you to submit a corrected version without additional charges, provided that we have not yet started the review.
