Genre : Psychological Thriller
Short Review :
One of the best thrillers I have ever listened to. Although, I accept that the ending is totally unpredictable (at least for me it was), the sex scenes seem to be pretty overloaded, unnecessarily. It's a dark, psychological thriller that will keep your mind thinking about the ending even days after finishing the audiobook.
Long Review :
It's dark but also not, at the same time. It's a psychological thriller that will keep you engaged right until the end. "Lowen Ashleigh is a struggling writer on the brink of financial ruin when she accepts the job offer of a lifetime. Jeremy Crawford, husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford, has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series his injured wife is unable to finish." As and when Lowen arrives at the Crawford home, she discovers an autobiography of Verity and learns frightening secrets about how her children died among other things.
Will she let Jeremy know the truth? Will she confront Verity on her own? These questions will keep bugging you and keep you intrigued until you reach the climax. If you are looking for a thriller with an absolutely unpredictable ending, grab Verity for your next read.
