Short Review :
My first book of my favorite niche. A mystery thriller and New York Times bestseller by Harlan Coben is another book that I read since I hadn't discovered audiobooks at the time. I discovered my interest in books after reading this one. Although it is not not entirely unpredictable but it fairly maintains the suspense until the end. You could make a fair guess about who the real villain of the story is and you'll probably be right about it.
Long Review :
A good start for someone just beginning to explore thrillers and even for those simply looking for a moderately suspense novel. Maya, ex military pilot and the protagonist of the story is horrified after seeing her dead husband, Joe ,on a nanny cam. Now the entire plot revolves around Maya digging deeper and uncovering some unsettling stuff about her husband. Is her husband still alive? Is this a conspiracy against her? Maya knows that her mother-in-law never liked her but would she go this far to destroy her? Or is it her dead sister's husband? A lot of suspects come into picture as the story progresses, including Joe, whom she thought she loved and who loved her back. Is he still alive? And if so, why would he fake his own death?
